Jie-ae Sohn is currently an invited professor at the Graduate School of International Studies at Ewha Womans University, focusing on international communication and communication in global development cooperation. She was previously the President/CEO of Arirang TV and Radio and also the Presidential Secretary of the Office of Overseas Public Relations for South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak. From 1995 to 2010, she worked as CNN’s bureau chief and correspondent based in Seoul, Korea. She also consults on communication strategies for major international organizations such as the World Bank and the Asia Foundation.
