[GDIS] Fall 2022 Application for Thesis-Additional 3 Credits Track Selection(Master's) / 2022-2 국제학과 논문-교과목 트랙 신청 안내

This is a notice regarding the application for Track Selection for the Master’s Program (Thesis or additional 3-credit track) (GSIS 7-1-1-B).


► Eligibility

Master's students are required to submit their application for track selection at the end of their 3rd semester.


► Due date

Please submit the attached form by December 29 (Thursday), 4 PM. via email (gdis@ewha.ac.kr) or by visiting the GSIS office.


► How to apply for Track Selection?

- Please fill out the attached form by choosing which track you would like to proceed.

- Get your academic advisor’s signature/approval (Important)

: Please make sure to consult your future academic plan (ex. graduation requirements, course registration) with your advisor before submitting the form.

: Approval email from professors on using their stamp in the office can be also accepted when its email is forwarded to GDIS.

-Write down your own signature (Important)

- Submit to the office by the deadline.


 Changing track can be accepted ONLY ONCE during the withdrawal period of the 4th semester, so please consider your choice carefully.


►(For those who choose the thesis track) What is the procedure for Thesis Dissertation?

- You may enroll Thesis Seminar (Z0001) and get evaluations from 3 thesis committee professors. The committee member is consisted of your thesis advisor (academic advisor, changeable), committee thesis reviewer, and committee chair. Students are to contact professors individually and report to the office with the required form.

- There are two evaluations from the committee (first and the final evaluation).

- There is a dissertation fee (168,000 Won) with the submission of 3 hard-covered thesis.
