Spring 2018 Application Guide for

Switching to Combined Master’s and Doctoral Degree Program

 

1. Eligibility

  ·Dept. of International Studies students who completed their 3^rd semester of Master’s program as of fall 2017

  ·Those who earned at least 24 credits including fall 2017 semester

  ·Those who have cumulative GPA is minimum 3.75 on a 4.30 scale including fall 2017 semester

  * Only applicable within the same major

 

2. How to Apply

  ·Application Submission Period: 2018. 1. 8(Mon.) ~ 1.19(Fri.) 17:00 

  ·How to Submit: In-person or by email (those who submit by email should submit the      original copy later)

 

3. Documents

  ·One copy of Application Form [GSIS 2-3]

  ·One original copy of Master’s degree transcript 

  ·One copy of Study Plan (Research Plan)

  ·Two recommendation letters 

  * Submit all the documents to GSIS Main Office (Ms. Minam Kim, IEB 1102)

 

4. Applied Benefits of Switching to Combined Program

  ·Waived from Master’s degree thesis 

  ·Waived from PhD program enrollment fee

 

5. Selection Process 
  ·Volume of Recruitment: depends on remaining 2016 academic year’s PhD entrance quota

  ·Evaluation Process: document screening 

  ·Result will be announced in middle of February 2018.

2018년도 1학기 석사박사통합과정 전환 모집

 

1. 지원 자격

  ·국제학과 석사과정 재학생 중 2017학년도 2학기 현재 3학기 이상 이수자 

  ·2017학년도 2학기 현재 24학점 이상 이수완료(성적증명서 기준)

·2017학년도 2학기까지의 누계평점 3.75/4.30 이상 (성적증명서 평점평균 기준)

  * 석사과정과 동일전공에 대하여 지원 가능

 

2. 지원 안내

  ·서류 제출 기간: 2018. 1. 8(월) ~ 1. 19(금) 17:00까지 

  ·제출 방법: 방문 혹은 이메일 제출(이메일 제출시 추후 원본제출 요망)

 

3. 제출 서류

  ·석사박사통합과정 전환신청서 1부(양식 2-3)

  ·석사 성적증명서(원본) 1부

  ·학업계획서 1부 (연구계획서) 

  ·추천서 2부

4. 석사박사통합과정 전환 적용혜택

  ·석사학위 논문면제

  ·박사과정 입학금 면제

 

5. 심사 사항

  ·모집인원: 2016학년도 박사과정 정원 중 미선발, 제적 및 중도포기로 인하여 생긴 여석 이내에서 선발 (정원외 전형 입학생의 경우 모집정원에 제한을 두지 않으며 수학능력을 고려하여 선발)

  ·전형방법: 서류심사

  ·합격발표: 2018년 2월 중순 예정.
