Fall 2017 Application Guide for

Withdrawing from Combined Master’s and PhD Degree Program to Master’s Program

 

1. Students who enrolled as Master’s and Doctoral Combined Program can apply for withdrawal of degree program and switch to master’s degree program.

 

2. Eligibility

• Master’s and Doctoral Combined program students who enrolled as 3^rd or more semesters
• Students who wishes to withdraw combined program and to be conferred Master’s degree

     * Only applicable within the same major

 

      3. How to Apply

• Application Submission: by January 15 (Mon.), 2018, 5 pm
• How to Submit: In-person or by email (those who submit by email should submit the original copy later in person)

 

      4. Documents

• One copy of Application Form (GSIS 6-6)
• One original copy of Combined Program Transcript

     * Submit all the documents to GSIS Office (IEB 1102).

 

      5. Notes

• Students who passed Combined program qualification exam can be acknowledged as passed Master’s program comprehensive exam.
• Students who wishes to apply for Master’s comprehensive exam can apply after approval is granted.

 

      6. Process

• Result will be announced late-January 2018.

2017학년도 2학기 석박통합과정 중도포기 신청 안내

 

1. 개요

석·박사 통합과정에 재학 중인 학생이 개인적인 사유로 통합과정을 중도에 포기하고 석사학위를 수여받기 위하여 신청하고자 하는 경우 고등교육법 및 대학원 학칙에 근거하여 석사학위과정으로 전환할 수 있음.

 

2. 신청 자격

석·박사 통합과정에 3학기 이상 재학하고 있는 학생으로서 통합과정을 중도포기하고 석사학위를 수여받고자 하는 학생

 
     3. 지원 안내

• 서류 제출 기간: 2018. 1. 15(월) 17:00까지
• 제출 방법: 방문 혹은 이메일 제출(이메일 제출시 추후 원본제출 요망)

 
     4. 제출 서류

         통합과정을 중도포기하고자 하는 학생은 통합과정 중도포기신청서 및 사유서(GSIS 6-6)를 작성하여 지도교수의 날인을 받아 소속학과에 제출함

• 통합에서 석사과정으로의 전환신청서 1부, 통합과정 성적증명서(원본) 1부

     *제출 장소: 국제대학원행정실(국제교육관 1102호)

 
     5. 유의사항

• 통합과정 자격시험에 합격한 경우에는 전환신청시 석사과정 종합시험 합격으로 대체인정할 수 있음
• 석사학위과정 종합시험에 응시하고자 하는 학생은 전환신청 승인 후 시험에 응시할 수 있음

 
     6. 결과 발표

• 승인 발표: 2018년 1월 말 예정
