참고: 태평양경제협력위원회(PECC)란?
태평양경제협력위원회(PECC)는 1980년대에 아시아·태평양 지역의 경제 협력과 자유무역을 촉진하기 위해 설립된 3자(정부, 산업계, 학계) 구성의 국제 민간 경제 협력체입니다. PECC는 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 모여 정책 연구와 대화를 진행하는 중요한 플랫폼이며, 아시아·태평양경제협력체(APEC) 창설에 큰 역할을 했습니다. 현재도 APEC의 유일한 비정부 공식 옵서버로서 지역 경제 협력에 적극 기여하고 있습니다.

The Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) is a tripartite international organization established in the 1980s to promote economic cooperation and free trade across the Asia-Pacific region. Comprising experts from government, business, and academia, PECC serves as a vital platform for dialogue and policy research, and it played a key role in the creation of APEC. It remains the only non-governmental official observer of APEC, actively contributing to regional economic collaboration.
