The Indo-Pacific region has been a stage of contention among the great powers, providing implications on regional security, power transition, alliances, and so forth. In the midst of evolving security dynamics in the region, it has become imperative for South Korea to define its strategic position and role to better respond to challenges and opportunities induced by the great power rivalry.
