국제대학원 학생 연구 활성화를 위한
국제학술대회 참가지원
1. 목 적
본 대학원은 소속 학생들의 연구 활성화를 위해 아래와 같이 연구지원 계획을 시행함. 소속 학생들의 수준 높은 국제학술대회에서의 논문 발표 활동을 통해 국제대학원의 역량 강화 및 국제대학원 홍보 효과를 기대함. 참가지원금 수혜자는 국제대학원 Executive Committee의 심의를 통해 선정되며 다른 지원금/연구비 혜택을 받지 못하는 학생들에 한해 지원가능함.
본 학술대회 참가지원금은 2019년 3월 1일부터 시행하며, 선정조건은 국제대학원 Executive Committee 의결을 통해 변경될 수 있음.

1. 대상: 본 대학원 소속 학생 중 국제학술대회 개최일자 기준으로 등록한 학생 * 해당학기 정규등록/논문등록/연구등록/ 교과목등록 완료자
2. 주요 해외 국제 학술대회에 (정기적 개최)에 주 논문발표자(Lead-presenter)로 참가시 지원(포스터 발표 제외, 공동발표자 제외, 토론자 참가 제외, 논문 발표에 특별한 역할 없이 참가하는 경우도 지원 불가)
2. 지원금: 본 대학원에 동일 학위과정 등록기간 중 최대 2회 정액 지급 * 지원금액: 아시아권 -50만원 / 비아시아지역 - 100만원
단, 교내외 연구비에서 참가경비의 일부 또는 전액 지원시 신청 불가하며 지원 취소될 수 있음. |
1. 신청방법 A학술대회 참가 전 신청 (최소 1개월 전 신청, 지연 제출시 지급 지연)) - 신청서식 제출 - 발표 논문출력본 1부, 학회 발표자 참가 증빙자료(홍보자료 등) * 참가 후 제출: 논문최종본 1부, 학회 발표참가자로 명시된 홍보자료 1부, 항공료 보딩패스, e-ticket, 학회등록비 영수증 사본 등 제출)
B. 학술대회 참가 후 신청시(1개월 이내) - 신청서식 제출 - 발표 논문최종본 1부, 학회 발표참가자로 명시된 홍보자료 1부 - 지출 증빙자료 제출 (항공료 보딩패스, e-ticket, 학회등록비 영수증 사본 등 제출)
*단, 회계연도가 지난 경우에는 지급불가*
2. 선정: 국제대학원 Executive Committee 심의 후 지급여부 통보: 학술대회의 중요도와 참가 역할, 논문 출간 가능성 및 예산 검토를 통해 선정함. |

International Academic Conference Participation
1. Purpose
GSIS is planning to support our students’ international academic conference presentations in order to promote research and subsequent academic publications. GSIS hopes actively to support students to publicize their research findings widely at major international conferences, which will lead to academic publications and promotion of Ewha GSIS. This will be a competitive grant, and will be provided when no other source of funding is available, and in limited cases when additional funding is necessary due to shortage of funds from other sources.
This grant will begin on March 1, 2019. The terms and condition may change without notice.

Support for Participation in International Academic Conferences |
1. Applicants: Ewha GSIS students who are registered* at the time of the conference date. * Registered: regular/thesis/research/course-based registration completed on that semester. 2. Conference: Major international conferences –e.g., annual meetings of major academic associations. 3. Participation: lead-presenter at the presentation. Does not apply when student plans to be discussant or co-presenter. Funding will not be provided for a poster presentation nor if a student is attending without a specific role such as presenting a paper.
4. Support: (1) Twice while registered as a GSIS student; (2) Upper Limit: Non-Asia –1,000,000 KRW; Asia –500,000 KRW.
* Funding cannot be provided if other funding is available through other research grant(s). Grant may be withdrawn if another travel grant is provided. |
A. Pre-Application (1) Submit application form to the GSIS main office. (2) A copy of paper to be presented. (3) Application should be submitted at least 1 months prior to the conference to allow for adequate time to process. Late submissions will result in delay in selection and payment. * After the conference: (1) Submit final conference program (2) Copy of the proceedings; and/or presented paper in program. (3) Submit receipts/boarding pass for airfare/registration fee.
B. Post-Application (within 1 months from the conference date and **within same academic year**) (1) Submit application form to the GSIS main office (2) Submit final conference program (2) Copy of the proceedings; and/or presented paper in program. (3) Submit receipts/boarding pass for airfare/registration fee.
2. Applicants will be notified of results by the GSIS Executive Committee. Competitive evaluation will be based on the significance of the conference, nature of participation, possibility for publication, and the program budget.
