Research Internship at the
Institute for Development and Human Security

(6 months, July – December, 2018)

Job Duties

Under the overall supervision of the Director of the Institute for Development and Human Security, the intern will contribute to the development of global health website and research on foreign aid on global health. The intern will:

 

1. contribute to the development of website dedicated to informing the Korean public on the issues of global public health, girls’ health in developing countries, and donors’ contribution to improving public health in developing countries

• gather information on the potential web developers and get quotes

• provide input and design the website outline

• gather and post information and data on the relevant subjects periodically

• conduct and draft analysis on global public health and global health aid

• help create pilot version of the website

* website will be in both Korean and English

 

2. assist research on foreign aid and global health

• gather data and literature on the topics

• contribute to the publication of policy briefs

Working Hours and Salary

15 hours per week (600,000 KRW per month, before tax)

Qualifications

- Student at the Graduate School of International Studies, Ewha Womans University

- Fluency in both Korean and English
