2024-1학기 D-2 유학 비자 발급이 필요한 학생들을 대상으로 표준입학허가서 신청을 받습니다. 아래의 내용을 확인하시어 표준입학허가서를 신청하시기 바랍니다.
1. 신청 대상: 아래 중 하나에 해당하는 외국인 유학생
• 현재 휴학 중이며 2024-1학기에 복학하려는 자(12월 중 게시될 2024학년도 1학기 휴학 및 복학 안내 공지를 반드시 참고할 것)
※ 입학 첫 학기 휴학 후 2024-1학기에 복학하는 경우, 등록금 납부 후 표준입학허가서 발급이 가능함. 이 경우 ewhaglobal@ewha.ac.kr로 별도 문의 바람.
• 한국에서 출국한 지 1년이 초과되어 기존 비자를 사용하여 한국에 입국할 수 없는 자
• 기타 사유로 D-2 비자가 필요한 자
2. 신청 기간: 2023. 12. 4.(월) 09:00 ~ 2024. 2. 8.(목) 17:00
3. 신청 방법: 온라인 신청(https://surveyl.ink/coa_spring2024)
온라인 신청 시 아래의 ①~③의 서류를 첨부하여야 함. 현재 재학 중인 본교 학위과정 입학 후 D-2 비자를 처음 발급받는 경우에는 ④서류 또한 추가로 제출하여야 함.

- 최종학교 졸업증명서와 은행잔고증명서의 경우 원본 또한 학번을 명시하여 아래 주소로 반드시 제출하여야 하며, 표준입학허가서 신청 시 스캔파일과 함께 원본서류를 우편 발송했다는 증빙(예: DHL 인보이스 등)을 첨부하여야 함

* 은행잔고증명서 제출 시 유의사항
- 표준입학허가서 신청일 기준 최근 20일 이내에 발급된 본인 또는 부모 명의의 은행잔고증명서(부모님 명의의 경우 가족관계증명서 추가 제출)
- 외국인등록을 마치고 국내에 체류 중인 자의 경우 국내은행 본인 명의의 잔고증명서만 인정됨.
- 중국은행 은행잔고증명서는 2024년 3월 31일까지 잔고 동결
- 중국 소재 은행의 경우, 다음의 4가지 은행만 인정: Bank of China, China Construction Bank, ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China
- 은행잔고증명서와 가족관계증명서는 한국어/영어로 발급된 것 또는 한국어 또는 영어로 번역 공증된 것만 인정됨.

4. 발급 방법: 모든 신청서류가 완벽히 제출된 경우 표준입학허가서 발급에는 평균적으로 5~7일(평일 기준) 소요되며, 발급 시 표준입학허가서 스캔본과 본교 사업자등록증 사본을 이메일로 발송함.
5. 유의사항
• 표준입학허가서의 발급 기간은 정해져 있음. 개강 후에는 발급이 절대 불가능하므로 반드시 신청 기간 내에 신청할 것.
• 비자 발급이 필요하고 입국 계획이 있는 경우에만 표준입학허가서를 신청할 것.
• 표준입학허가서 신청 시 모든 정보가 정확하게 입력되었는지 확인할 것.
• 신청서 제출 전 첨부한 파일이 열리는지 확인할 것.
• 신청서는 1회만 제출할 것 (중복하여 여러번 제출할 경우 신청자 파악에 어려움이 있어 발급이 지연됨).
• 표준입학허가서는 발급일로부터 3개월 동안만 유효함. 3개월 이내 비자 신청을 하지 않을 시 표준입학허가서는 삭제됨.
• 2024. 3. 30.까지 입국하지 않을 경우 표준입학허가서와 비자 모두 취소됨.
• 표준입학허가서 수령 후 바로 비자 신청을 할 것. 비자 발급에는 통상 3-4주 소요되며 공관에 따라 기간 상이함.
• 표준입학허가서 발급 후 한국 입국 계획이 취소되거나 입국예정일이 변경되는 경우 반드시 ewhaglobal@ewha.ac.kr로 알릴 것

We are receiving Certificate of Admission (CoA) applications from international students who require a new D-2 (study abroad) visa in Spring 2024. Please carefully read the information below and apply for a certificate of admission.
1. For whom: International students who meet one of the conditions below
• Currently on a leave of absence and planning to return in Spring 2024 (please also make sure to read the notice regarding leave of absence and returning to school for Spring 2024 that will be posted on the notice board of this website in December)
※ Students who have taken a leave in their first semester and are planning to return in Spring 2024 must complete tuition payment before applying for a CoA. Please individually reach out to us at ewhaglobal@ewha.ac.kr
• Current visa has become invalid due to having been outside Korea for more than a year
• In need of a new D-2 visa due to other reasons
2. Application Period: Monday, December 4, 2023, 9am – Thursday, February 8, 2024, 5pm
3. Application Process: apply online at https://surveyl.ink/coa_spring2024
Students are required to attach the documents a)–c) below when submitting their online application. Students applying for a D-2 visa for the first time after joining the degree programme they‘re currently enroled in at Ewha must additionally submit document d).
a) a copy of passport
b) a scanned bank balance certificate (minimum 20 million KRW)*
c) proof of postage (e.g. DHL invoice, etc.) that shows that the original copy of the bank balance certificate (and graduation certificate if applying for a D-2 visa for the first time) has been sent by post
d) a scanned graduation certificate from the previous school they attended*
* Information for all applicants
- Original copies of your graduation certificate and bank balance certificate must also be submitted by post to the address below; please write your student number on top of the certificates. Proof of postage (e.g. DHL invoice, etc.) must be attached along with a scanned file of the certificates when submitting your online application for a CoA.

* Important Information regarding Bank Balance Certificates
- Certificates must have been issued under student's or parents' names within 20 days as of the date of CoA application (certificates issued under parents' names must be accompanied by a family relation certificate).
- Students residing in Korea after completing the foreign resident registration process must submit a bank balance certificate issued under their own names at a bank in Korea.
- Certificates issued at a bank in China must show a balance that is valid until March 31, 2024.
- In case of banks located in China, only certificates issued at one of the following four will be accepted: Bank of China, China Construction Bank, ICBC, Agricultural Bank of China
- Bank balance certificates as well as family relation certificates must either be issued in Korean/English or translated into Korean/English and notarized.
* Important Information regarding Graduation Certificates
4. Issuance Process: After ALL required documents have been submitted according to the above guidelines, it usually takes 5 to 7 business days for a CoA to be issued. A scanned copy of your certificate and a copy of the University’s business registration certificate will be sent to your email address.
5. Important Notes: Students are asked to
• keep in mind that CoAs can only be issued during the application period. They will not be issued under any circumstances after the start of the semester; please ensure that your application is submitted within the application period.
• submit their application ONLY if in need of a new D-2 visa and planning to come to Korea in Spring 2024.
• check whether all information on the application form is correct.
• make sure that the files they attach can be accessed without error.
• submit their application only ONCE (submitting the same application several times causes great delay in the issuance process).
• note that CoAs are only valid for 3 months upon issuance. Should students not apply for a visa within 3 months, the CoA will be deleted.
• note that the CoA and D-2 visa of students who fail to come to Korea by March 30, 2024 will be cancelled.
• apply for a visa immediately upon receiving their CoA. Visa applications usually require 3 to 4 weeks to be processed, but this processing time may vary among embassies.
• inform the International Student Affairs Team office via email at ewhaglobal@ewha.ac.kr should their travel plans to Korea change or get cancelled.
